PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide printing equipment for printing solder paste or the like on a substrate, which enables improvement of production efficiency. SOLUTION: This printing equipment has a carrying means 20 which is movable in the direction of a carrying line and in the vertical direction. In a state wherein the carrying means 20 is disposed at a substrate carrying position between a carrying-in means 11 and a carrying-out means 12, a substrate carrying-in process wherein the substrate W is carried in from the carrying-in means 11 to the carrying means 20, a substrate raising process wherein the carrying means 20 is raised from the substrate carrying position and disposed at a printing position, a printing process wherein the paste S is applied to the substrate W at the printing position and a substrate lowering process wherein the carrying means 20 is lowered from the printing position and disposed at the substrate carrying position, are executed. In the state wherein the carrying means is disposed at the substrate carrying position, a substrate carrying-out process wherein the substrate is carried out from the carrying means 20 to the carrying-out means 12 is executed. When the carrying means 20 is at the substrate carrying position, the movement of the carrying means 20 in the carrying direction is stopped, and when the carrying means 20 is at the raised position, the movement of this means 20 in the direction of the carrying line is enabled.
