The interaction level between a clutch unit (15) connected to the differential housing and a second element (15b) connected to a shaft is adjusted by creating a specific relation between the elements (15,15b). A data processing device is used to determine a first control signal using a multitude of input signals. The first signal is superposed by a second control signal determining the difference of the rotation speed between the differential housing and the shaft. A change of the second signal caused by a change of the vehicle condition is performed quicker than a change of the first signal.
