The instrument has two strings (4, 5) that are guided one over another in a preset position. A support and deflecting part (1) with two grooves (2, 3) and a sleeve (7) divides a scale provided between two hanging bridges (12, 13) into two partial regions in a play level. The support and deflecting part deflects the upper string downward and the lower string upward, so that each string passes halfway in the play level. The part is supported through the shaft with an internal thread.
