PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for insert molding for performing the insert molding of a molded product constituted by forming a long resin material at least on either one of the front and back of an insert member and suppressed in the deformation of the insert member, and an insert molding method. SOLUTION: A film gate is provided to the mold for insert molding and the gate end part being the communication port with an cavity of the film gate is opened to a front molding face.
