An organic light emitting display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to protect an EL(Electro-Luminescence) device from UV ray by forming a UV ray-blocking film on the EL device. An organic light emitting display device includes a substrate(1), a TFT(Thin Film Transistor), an organic light emitting element, a UV(UltraViolet) blocking film(31), and a sealing portion(32). Plural pixels are defined on the substrate. The TFT is formed on respective pixels. The organic light emitting element includes a first electrode layer(21), connected to a drain electrode of the TFT, an organic layer(23), formed on the first electrode, and a second electrode layer(24), formed on the organic layer. The UV blocking film is formed on the organic light emitting element to protect the organic light emitting element from a UV ray. The sealing portion is formed on the UV blocking film. |
