PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-use sound reproducing device and a sound reproducing system for enabling a user to easily confirm operating states of reproduction or the like. SOLUTION: The sound reproducing device transmits sound data stored in a storage part 33 to a wireless headphone and reproduces the sound in the wireless headphone. A device body 20 executes communication in-between the wireless headphone via a transmission/reception part 22 and an antenna 21. The sound data stored in the storage part 33 are reproduced by being successively transmitted to the wireless headphone via the transmission/reception part 22 and the antenna 21. Reproduction operation of the sound data is inhibited when it is detected by a system control part 30 that the communication state in-between the wireless headphone is poor.
