<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of obtaining a composite oxide having excellent heat resistance by uniformly dispersing ultrafine particles and making a support adsorb the particles. <P>SOLUTION: The method is provided of manufacturing the heat resistant composite oxide obtained by supporting the second fine particles 5 having electrification characteristics near that of the first oxide particles 3, 4 on the first oxide particles 3, 4, wherein before the second fine particles 5 are adsorbed on the first oxide particles or their precursor 3, 4, the first oxide particles or their precursor 3, 4 is made to adsorb a prescribed acid or base so that the first oxide particles or their precursor 3, 4, are charged so as to have potential opposed to that of the fine particles 5 or their precursor adsorbed by the first oxide particles or their precursor 3, 4, and the oxide particles 3, 4 are made to adsorb the second fine particles through the acid or the base and after that, supported by firing the oxide particles 3, 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
