<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for setting a suitable cleaning voltage, according to a toner concentration reference value and a charged quantity of toner. <P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic apparatus includes a toner concentration reference value setting section for setting, as the toner concentration reference value, a target value for a toner concentration in two-component development; a charged toner quantity estimating section for estimating a charged quantity of toner; and a cleaning voltage determining section for determining, as the cleaning voltage, a voltage difference between the surface potential of the non-image part of a photoreceptor and a development bias potential, based upon the toner concentration reference value set and the estimated charged quantity of toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
