<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of precisely detecting whether a specific polymorphism (including variation) exists in a nucleic acid which is a sample or not by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: The method for detecting the polymorphism in the nucleic acid comprises a first step for carrying out PCR by using the nucleic acid (100) and a primer having a substrate-binding part (150) capable of binding to a substrate (500) for measurement at one end and capable of annealing to an area having possibility containing the polymorphism, a second step for binding the substrate-binding part (150) of the PCR product to the substrate (500) for measurement, a third step for cleaning the substrate surface for measurement with a liquid containing a low-molecular weight compound (200) having a functional group capable of binding to the substrate for measurement and/or a polar liquid and a fourth step for detecting whether the polymorphism exists or not by measuring whether extension reaction of the primer binding to the substrate for measurement exists or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
