PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image processor with a log management means for storing image data as a log in which storage state of log (collection, contraction) can be set, and the log of image data can be created based on its setting of content and managed. SOLUTION: The image processor 1 comprises a means for inputting image data, a data output processing means for processing inputted image data, a log management region 7b for storing processed image data as a log, a means 3a for setting the storage state of log, and a means 3b for creating a log based on its setting of content wherein the log thus created is stored in the log management region 7b. The setting means 3a can arbitrarily set a plurality of storage states of a log in the log management region 7b including storage of all pages of image data, storage of only predetermined pages, storage while contracting page size, storage while collecting a plurality of pages into one page, storage while altering data format, storage while altering to color or monochrome, and storage while altering resolution.
