A piston pump is provided to effectively save the manufacturing cost and also improve the performance by simplifying the structure of a seal of a piston. A piston pump comprises a bore(22), a piston(30), an outlet valve(50), a return spring(41), and an inlet valve(60). The bore is formed on a predetermined block and fluidly communicated with an intake port(17) and an exhaust port(18). The piston is disposed at one end of the bore to reciprocate. A suction path(31) is formed inside the piston to take in oil from the intake port and exhaust the oil to a leading end of the piston. The outlet valve is disposed at the other end of the bore, thereby forming a pressurizing chamber(40) with the leading end of the piston. Additionally, the outlet valve is disposed between the pressurizing chamber and the exhaust port to open and close the pressurizing chamber. The return spring is formed in the pressurizing chamber to resiliently bias the piston. The inlet valve is formed at the leading end of the piston to open and close the intake path. |
