PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prophylactic agent for colon-cancer formulated with sphingoglycolipid.

SOLUTION: The new and safety prophylactic agent for colon-cancer comprises the sphingoglycolipid or substance containing the sphingoglycolipid formulated in a food and drink and a medicine. The prophylactic agent for colon-cancer prevents aberant crypt foci(ACF) and mucin depleted foci(MDF) considered to be associated with the development of the colon cancer, and is thereby highly safe new food and drink or medicine useful for the prophylaxis of the colon cancer.
