BASE CLOTH FOR AIRBAG, AIRBAG AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag having excellent inner pressure holding performance by suppressing the mesh opening of a seamed part in the expansion of the airbag. SOLUTION: The base cloth for airbag is made of a woven synthetic fiber fabric having a rip-stop texture. A synthetic resin is attached to at least one surface of the woven fabric having rip-stop texture, the air permeability of the base cloth is essentially zero and the slippage resistance is 200-500 N. The base cloth for airbag is produced by applying a synthetic resin to a woven synthetic fiber fabric having a rip-stop texture by knife coating. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
