THIN FILM ZNS(AG) SCINTILLATOR FOR DETECTION OF ALPHA PATICLES, AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

A thin film type ZnS(Ag) scintillation detection material for detecting alpha particles and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase mechanical strength and transparency by using a dual structure. A thin film type ZnS(Ag) scintillation detection material contains a base polymer layer on a base material and a ZnS(Ag) scintillator layer of the base polymer layer. The polymer material of the polymer layer is a copolymer of polysulfon, polystyrene, and polymethacrylate, or a poly. Cyanoethyl pullulan, cyanoethyl polyvinyl alcohol, or cyanoresin which is the compound of cyanoethyl pullulan and cyanoethyl polyvinyl alcohol are used as an adhesive for adhering the ZnS(Ag) layer and the polymer layer. The thickness of the ZnS(Ag) scintillator layer is 5~50mum.
