PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device of a functional body manufacturable at low cost by driving both the opening operation and the closing operation of the functional body. SOLUTION: This drive device of the functional body comprises a spring motor, an input means, a drive gear, a driven gear, a connection gear member, a stopper, and the functional body. The connection gear member comprises a first connection gear group formed of gears of even number in quantity and a second connection gear group formed of gears of odd number in quantity, and takes a normal connection position for connecting the drive gear to the driven gear through the first connection gear group and a revere connection position for connecting the drive gear to the driven gear through the second connection gear group. When the connection gear member is disposed at the normal connection position, the driven gear is normally rotated to normally operate the functional body. When the connection gear member is disposed at the reverse connection position, the driven gear is reversely rotated to reversely rotate the functional body. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
