PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a heat-radiating member, having high heat conductivity and superior heat-dissipating characteristics with comparative ease and stability. SOLUTION: Related to a method for manufacturing the heat radiating member used for a power device semiconductor, etc., copper plating is applied to a carbon fiber sheet wherein carbon fibers, whose directions are uniformed are fixed by a resin fiber so arranged as to get across the carbon fibers to make a sheet form, then the sheets are so laminated that the directions of the carbon fibers of the sheets substantially correspond to each other, and are pressure-sintered by discharge plasma sintering method, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
