PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new vinylidene fluoride resin film having excellent weather resistance, fouling resistance, secondary processability and heat resistance in which yellowing that occurs when heated is suppressed compared to a conventional vinylidene fluoride resin film. SOLUTION: The ratio of a type II crystal component within a crystal structure is acquired from absorbance of infrared absorption spectrum of the vinylidene fluoride resin film, and the film is characterized by that the ratio is 90-100%. In the method for producing a vinylidene fluoride resin film, a film is produced by extrusion and the film is reheated to control the ratio of type II crystal component between 90% and 100%.
