PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent welding sags and burrs generated in a welded part from being generated when welding an electrode ear to the core body of an electrode by seam welding. SOLUTION: When the lower part of the electrode ear is superposed on a mounting part formed so as to project from the electrode, and is welded by being held between rotary disk electrodes, pressurized, and energized, a non-welded part is formed by leaving the lower end of the superposed electrode ear and both end parts of the electrode ear in its welded width direction without welding them.
