PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a token feeder that can accurately detect the availability of a token container without any incorrect detection at a token container availability detecting section and that can prevent tokens from falling behind the token container by holding the token container at a proper position by at least one or more position-determining section when placing the medal container inside a token container receptor. SOLUTION: The token feeder that supplies tokens retained inside a retaining chamber into the token container placed inside the token container receptor at either right or left position by a pay-out movement of a token distributing device is provided with at least one or more position-determining section for holding the token container at the bottom of the space inside the token container receptor.
