<p>Disclosed is a system and a method for issuing and purchasing lottery tickets used to bet on the box office ranking of culture contents. The method issues and purchases lottery tickets used to bet on the box office rankings of culture contents by using a lottery ticket integration server, an off-line lottery ticket system, and a counter system interworking with one another via a communication network. The method includes the steps of (a) receiving off-line lottery ticket purchase information from the off-line lottery ticket system for storage and management, the off-line ticket purchase information containing box office ranking information of culture contents selected by respective buyers; (b) receiving box office ranking data of corresponding culture contents from the counter system at a predetermined time; and (c) determining winners from the buyers based on the off-line ticket purchase information and the box office ranking data. Winners of lottery tickets are determined based on reliable box office rankings of movies or music sales. This facilitates the installation of computerized systems at theaters or music stores and clarifies the flow of capital in the film industry.</p> |
