PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller capable of giving commands to a member to be worked is applied in the horizontal and vertical directions by a single hand and the operating speed in these directions. SOLUTION: The remote controller has a remote command device fitted with an operating lever able to be tilted in all directions, and the direction of the horizontal operational command is decided to the horizontal moving direction of the member to be worked in which the specific horizontal orientation direction of the remote command device is to be worked, and a command is given to the horizontal moving speed in the horizontal moving direction by tilting the operating lever in the direction fore and aft. The command of vertical operation is made by giving a command in the vertical moving direction of the member to be worked in the left-right tilting direction of the operating lever so that a command of the vertical moving speed is emitted on the basis of the amount of left-right tilting. Commands of the horizontal and vertical directions and the respective moving speeds are issued by a single hand by changing the tilting operation of the operating lever and the direction of the remote command device by a single hand.
