PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital image binarizing device for executing accurate binarization even when S/N is deteriorated and a digital data reproducing device using the digital image binarizing device.

SOLUTION: The set of all target images corresponding to two or more continuous divided images to be successively outputted from a divided image generating means 102 is defined as a status by using the correlation of two-dimensional codes, and maximum likelihood decoding using probability density distribution functions is carried out by using the correlation of the two-dimensional codes based on the transition probability of each status so that it is possible to execute accurate binarization.
