PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder capable of enhancing the sheet separation effect even without using a motor. SOLUTION: The sheet feeder comprises a sheet stacking tray 17 to stack sheets 23, a sheet feed means to feed the sheets 23 stacked on the sheet stacking tray 17, and an air blowing means to blow air on the sheets 23 stacked on the sheet stacking tray 17. The air blowing means comprises a fan 31 to blow air, and an oscillation members 35 interposed between the sheets 23 stacked on the sheet stacking tray 17 and the fan 31. Since the oscillation member 35 is oscillated while receiving air blown from the fan 31, the state (the direction and the pressure) of air blown from the fan 31 can be continuously changed.
