<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent confidential information from being illegally leaked out to the outside from an HDMI (high definition multimedia interface) signal processing circuit and a storage medium storing key information of HDMI. <P>SOLUTION: A television receiver capable of receiving a digital signal subjected to digital copying prevention processing is provided with a device for protecting an HDMI processing circuit for performing authentication processing and decoding and a storage medium storing key information, a circuit for detecting unauthorized access to the circuit and the storage medium, a circuit for stopping an output of an HDMI signal to a video outputting part, and a display circuit for transmitting and displaying display stop of the HDMI signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
