发明名称 CUTTING EDGE FOR EXCAVATION
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting edge for excavation, which contributes to increased speed of towing or propelling an underground structure member without causing deformation of the ground on the periphery of the excavation. SOLUTION: The cylindrical cutting edge 1 for excavation is arranged at a front edge of an excavator which excavates the ground and at the same time inserts the underground structure member 2 into an excavated hole. The cutting edge 1 is formed of a top portion, side portions, and a bottom portion which intersect a front end opening, and at least the side portions 12 have apertures 12a formed therein, respectively. Thus soil excavated by the excavator can be taken in not only from the front end opening of the cutting edge 1 but also from the apertures 12a, and therefore the take-in capacity of the excavated soil into the cutting edge 1 for excavation is improved, to thereby increase the speed of towing or propelling the underground structure member 2 without causing deformation of the ground on the periphery of the excavation. Further the cutting edge has an adjusting means for adjusting the area of each aperture 12a.
