PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily arrange a plurality of images, while a user's preference is made to be reflected, when the images are laid out. SOLUTION: The plurality of the images are arranged to a background region, and a layout image is formed in accordance with a predetermined rule. The editing instructions of the user to the layout image are received. User's preference information is formed based on the editing result.
