PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice/text for assisting the understanding of a user without using a special reproducing apparatus. SOLUTION: The interpretation system for using a mobile phone 101 installed with a non-contact IC device of the user for storing in advance information of a language used by the user and providing contents to the user for assisting the understanding of the user includes: a writing/reading apparatus 105 for reading the information from the non-contact IC device of the mobile phone 101 at the entry of the user into a facility; and a contents distribution server apparatus 106 for storing in advance contents of sub-voice contents in cross-reference with main voice used in the facility and distributing the sub-voice contents to the mobile phone 101 when the sub-voice contents appropriate to the language information read by the writing/reading apparatus 105 exists.
