Thermoforming process in which a thermoplastic sheet (11) in a coherent but plastic state is molded and bonded to an in-mold film (12) comprises providing structuring (18) at the interface (15) between the sheet and film to prevent formation of air pockets. Independent claims are also included for: (1) themoplastic sheet or in-mold film for a thermoforming process as above with an open pattern of protrusions and/or depressions on one side; (2) producing plastic articles by a thermoforming process as above; (3) plastic articles produced as above. |
