The rotation switch has a rotary cover and a locking collar (7), which is formed at the outer circumferential side of jaw-shaped spreader segments (6). A circular recess is formed in the cover for receiving a spreader segment at housing wall of an electronic device, so that the spreader segment snaps under elastic pre stressing during the plugging of the segment in the recess, and the collar engages in the interior of the recess.
