<p>An imaging apparatus has a first determination device to determine whether or not an external printing device responds to a function, which prints arbitrary character information recorded in an image data, a second determination device to determine whether or not the imaging apparatus has a function, which displays the arbitrary character information recorded in the image data, and a display device to display a print setting item, which allows a user to select whether or not to print the arbitrary character information, on a print setting screen, if it is determined that the external printing device responds to the function by the first determination device and if it is determined that the imaging apparatus has the function by the second determination device, when printing.</p> |
