<p>A compact external rotor electric motor, e.g. for goods or personnel lifts, has the internal stator (1) clamped at one end in a support plate (2) with a first bearing (3) to support one end of the external rotor (4). The other end of the motor is supported by a second support plate (8) with a bearing which supports the stub end (7) of the rotor. The corresponding end of the stator can be located on the inside of the rotor stub by a third bearing. The outer surface of the rotor can be provided with grooves (6) for a pulley drive and with permanent magnets (5) on the inside. Alternately the stub can be fitted with a pulley.</p> |
