FIELD: mechanical engineering; vibration insulation of technological equipment, looms in particular. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed vibration insulator with dry friction damper includes cylindrical helical spring, body and dry friction damper. Body is made in form of upper and lower T-shaped sleeves which are opposing relative to end faces of cylindrical helical spring; they lock cylindrical helical spring by end surface. Dry friction damper made in form of bush manufactured from friction material is located between external surface of upper sleeve and internal surface of flexible lower sleeve, pressing the bush at required force to external surface of upper sleeve. ^ EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of vibration insulation in resonance mode; simplified construction and ease in mounting. ^ 1 dwg
