PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of performing accurate detection of a measuring object while preventing the occurrence of false positive in an easy subject inspection method using membrane assay method, and a kit used in such a method. SOLUTION: The easy membrane assay method for an object to be measured in a subject sample, using an assay device provided with a membrane connected with a capturing reagent for capturing the object, comprises dropping the subject sample onto the membrane after filtering by use of a filtering filter, and detecting the presence of the object in the subject sample. The easy membrane assay kit for inspecting the presence of an object to be measured in a subject sample comprises (1) a filtering filter and (2) an assay device provided with a membrane connected with a capturing material for capturing the object.
