PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device reducing a load on a lens driving device, and an electronic apparatus provided with the same. SOLUTION: The solid-state image pickup device 100A is provided with: an image pickup element 2 arranged on a substrate 1; a lens 3 for forming an object image on the image pickup element 2; a lens holder 4 holding the lens 3; a shutter device 5A arranged on the object side of the lens holder 4, and a stepper motor 8A for driving shutter blades of the shutter device 5A. In the pickup device 100A, the lens holder 4 and the shutter device 5A are arranged so as to freely move to the optical axis direction of the lens 3, and the stepper motor 8A is provided with a coil fixed on the substrate 1 side, a stator 10A fixed on the coil, and a rotor 9A supported by the shutter device 5A and opposing the stator 10A. With this configuration, the load on the lens driving device 22 for driving the lens holder 4 is reduced.
