PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional shopping bag which can separately store the articles not suitable for storing in the condition that those are directly piled up vertically or brought into contact with each other. SOLUTION: Two plates 2a and 2b having incisions 7 and tongue pieces 8a, 8b and 8c, and 9a, 9b and 9c are fixed at an internal middle position of a bag body 1 for storing purchased articles so as to rise and fall between a separating position and an opening position and the incisions 7 and the tongue pieces 8a, 8b and 8c, and 9a, 9b and 9c can be locked at the separating position by being combined together. After a heavy article such as a vegetable or the like is stored in a bottom section of the bag in a state that the two plates 2a and 2b are moved to the opening position, the two plates 2a and 2b are turned to the separating position to be mutually locked and a soft and deformable merchandise such as a raw fish or the like is mounted on the top of the plates.
