The present invention discloses a kind of aqueous adhesive, which is the mixed solution that comprises gelatin, water-soluble polymer and water, or which is composed of gelatin, water-soluble polymer and water. The present invention also discloses a method of preparing the said adhesive and the application thereof in making anode of the lithium ion battery. The useful technology effect of the present invention includes: the said aqueous adhesive has good coating effect and low cost; each component of the adhesive is available easily. The adhesive can be prepared by simple process and possess broad industrial application prospect.
