PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a file transmission system which is capable of transmitting files without hindrance, even if a fire wall is installed. SOLUTION: The file transmission device 10 inside the fire wall inquires of a center device 14 whether a file transmission device which requests to transmit files is registered. When it is found that the file transmission device is registered, the file transmission device 10 is connected to the registered file transmission device 13. In another system, the file transmission device 10 as a receiving end has the special port of the fire wall 11 previously opened, and waits for the arrival of data through the specific port from outside. The file transmission device of a transmission end establishes a TCP connection using the specific port, and then transmits a multi-connection simultaneous transfer command and data.
