The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner, comprising a housing (1) and an exhaust opening (36) for an exhaust flow, connected to a pressurised side of a motor/fan unit (27) by means of a flow channel (21) which has a branched embodiment to divide the exhaust flow into at least one first part channel (33) and a second part channel (61). According to the invention, a high noise reduction in the exhaust flow may be achieved with low complexity, whereby the first part channel (33) and the second part channel (61) are combined before the exhaust opening (36). An effective noise reduction is achieved, essentially without additional complex baffle devices. |
