PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which yield is lowered due to variation in transistors attributable to an increase in a layout area of a drive circuit and an increase in the number of transistors caused by an increase in the number of transistors constituting a shift register circuit and a latch circuit.

SOLUTION: A semiconductor circuit is provided in which two transistors being an n-channel type transistor and a p-channel type transistor are used instead of two clocked inverters occupying eight transistors in a D flip-flop in the conventional manner to reduce the number of transistors.
