PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination detection device which can correct inclination when a hologram medium is inclined to a reference position, a hologram device, an inclination correction method of a medium, and an inclination correction method of a hologram medium. SOLUTION: The inclination detection device is characterized by having; a inclination detection beam generation section which makes a inclination detection beam for detecting whether a medium is inclined to the reference position enter the medium; a light receiving section which receives the inclination detection beam obtained through the medium after the inclination detection beam entered to the medium; and a correction output section which outputs a signal for correcting the inclination of the medium based on the difference between the light receiving position of the light receiving section and the light receiving position when the medium exists at the reference position.
