OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE AND ELECTRIC WIRING MIXED CIRCUIT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To micronize the device and to suppress optical loss without making the relative index difference large by limiting waveguide materials in a mixed circuit or the like in which an optical waveguide having bend sections and an electric wiring are formed on the same substrate surface. SOLUTION: In the optical waveguide and electric wiring mixed circuit, an optical waveguide 2 and an electric wiring 1 are formed on a substrate. A reflection mirror 3 which reflects light beams within the optical waveguide in accordance with a bend is formed at the bending section of the optical waveguide 2 within the same plane of the optical waveguide 2. The optical waveguide 2 and the electric wiring 1 are formed by the same ink jet device of the reflection mirror 3.
