PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescent display device that is easy to manufacture, while improving the light extraction efficiency and luminance, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The display device comprises a substrate a first electrode disposed at an upper part of the substrate; a second electrode disposed at an upper part of the first electrode to face the first electrode; a first intermediate layer, having a light-emitting layer interposed between the first and the second electrodes; a color conversion layer disposed on the upper part of the second electrode; and a diffraction grating disposed between the second electrode and the color conversion layer.
