PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate material machine tool, cutting such as tapping and plate material feeding without damaging a plate material. SOLUTION: This plate material machine tool performs cutting such as tapping for the plate material W. The machine tool includes: a cutting tool 16 for cutting a part to be machined of the plate material W from above the plate material W; a plate material support member 18; a chip discharge passage 24; and a plate material feed means 10. The plate material support member 18 supports the lower surface of the plate material W, and has a hole 19 allowing entering of the cutting tool 6 and discharging chips generated in cutting. The chip discharge passage 24 communicates with the hole 19 of the plate material support member 18. The plate material feed means 10 is a means for feeding the plate material W to the position of the cutting tool 16.
