PROTEIN L1 AND PROTEIN E7 PEPTIDE-BASED COMPOSITION FOR TREATING AND PREVENTING A HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRAL INFECTION

The invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to papillomaviral proteins and peptides used for developing immunoprophylactic and therapeutic vaccines against different variants of a human papillomaviral infection (HPV). The capsid proteins L1 of a human papilloma viral serotypes (16, 18, 31) causing the most aggressive human diseases are obtainable by transforming yeast cells of a plasmid DNA which encodes the L1 proteins from said serotypes. Peptides in the form of transforming E7 HPV protein fragments (E7-peptides) of said serotypes are produced by means of a chemical synthesis. The thus produced yeast strains producers during the cultivation thereof are capable of expressing the L1 proteins in the form of virus-like particles (VLP). Said L1 proteins are extracted, cleaned and used for preparing vaccine compositions which can also contain E7-peptides and adjuvants.
