PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition that gives a recording material which reduces drying load at the time of drying because it gives a low viscosity and high concentration dispersion liquid, reduces coating streaks and non-uniformity, when applied on a substrate and is excellent in water resistance, blur resistance and adhesive strength. SOLUTION: The resin composition contains (A) an amorphous silica with an average particle size of≥1μm and (B) a vinyl alcohol polymer having a silyl group in the molecule. The blend ratio of (A) to (B) is 100 pts.wt. of (A) to 7-65 pts.wt. of (B). The pH of the resin composition is regulated at lower than 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
