<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing having improved assembling efficiency while preventing the occurrence of creep. <P>SOLUTION: The rolling bearing comprises an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 4 opposed to each other in a relatively rotatable manner, a plurality of rolling elements 6 rollingly arranged between the inner and outer rings, an annular recessed groove 12 formed in an outer diameter face 14out of the outer ring along the peripheral direction, and an annular O-ring 14 fitted into the recessed groove with its outer diameter face protruded from the recessed groove. The "interference" of a mating face between an inner diameter face 14in of the O-ring and a bottom face 12s of the recessed groove is set in a range of 1-6% of the inner diameter of the O-ring. In this case, a relationship between d1 and d2 satisfies 1.01×d2≤d1≤1.06×d2, where d1 is the diameter of the bottom face of the recessed groove and d2 is the inner diameter of the O-ring. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
