PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel which can be driven by low voltage and has improved luminance and light emission efficiency. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel has a plurality of blocks arranged between an upper substrate 110 and an under substrate 120. Each of the blocks comprises: barrier ribs 132 made of dielectric, defining a discharge cell; an upper discharge electrode having an upper discharge portion arranged in the barrier ribs 132 and upper connection portions 134b which are connected to the upper discharge portion and are drawn from the barrier ribs; and an under discharge electrode having an under discharge portion arranged being separated from the upper discharge portion in the barrier ribs and under connection portions 135b which are connected to the under discharge portion and are drawn from the barrier ribs. The upper connection portions 134b of the respective blocks are connected each other, and also the under connection portions 135b of the respective blocks are connected each other.
