PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tooth protector with which a laryngoscope can be inserted into an oral cavity without giving a pain to a patient and which protects teeth of the patient from a shock of the laryngoscope. SOLUTION: Using material having elasticity after shaping, the tooth protector (10) is produced to have a thickness according to the strength of an alveolar bone assumed about a part where the alveolar bone is weak in the oral cavity. The gum (23) at the part where the alveolar bone is weak and teeth (20, 21 and 22) kept by the alveolar bone are crowned with the protector to protect the teeth from the shock of the laryngoscope.
