PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular room lamp capable of changing the light distribution characteristics, depending on the type of vehicle. SOLUTION: By changing a distance between an LED 52 and a condensing lens 54, by using spacers 56 and 58 as shown in Fig., the way light emitted from the condensing lens 54 expands can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the distance. For instance, when a type A of vehicle is a compact vehicle, the irradiation distance can relatively be reduced, whereby the way the light emitted from the condensing lens 54 expands is a relatively widened one. For instance, when a type B of vehicle is a medium-size vehicle, the irradiation distance is standard, whereby the way the light emitted from the condensing lens 54 expands is a standard one slightly narrowed, as compared with that of the type A of vehicle. For instance, when a type C of vehicle is a large-size vehicle, the irradiation distance is relatively large, whereby the way the light emitted from the condensing lens 54 expands is relatively narrowed.
