The invention relates to a support for cards used to identify works of art. The inventive support is characterised in that it comprises three parts, namely: a) a metal plate which is bent close to one of the ends thereof, such as to form a support for the card; b) a rod which is bent at a 90° angle in the centre thereof and which is welded to the plate (a) on the side opposite that comprising the card support; and c) a small metal plate which is welded to the other end of the rod and which is equipped with two drill holes such that it can be screwed to a suitable surface (wood). The latter plate (c) can be provided with a double-sided adhesive tape such that it can be fixed to a smooth surface (metal, plastic).
